When trying to register the Tooth Atlas displays an error "Can't connect to internet" (or similar). How do I register my software?

The Tooth Atlas requires an internet connection to register.  Please ensure you are connected to the internet.  Port 10000 must be open.  (TCP / bidirectional)  Ensure any firewall hardware or software is not blocking the port or connection.  Please ask your IT department for access / to open the port for you if you do not have control over the network.
